Our typical class schedule works like this!
The kids come into class I pass out their books and give them the chapter we are on today. I then pass out their saint coloring sheet for the week with the crayons. We begin with prayer, I then go through the lesson with the kids or review from the last week. We then discuss our saint for the week, Have the students pass out the parent newsletter. I ask for volunteer to help clean up and then we get ready to leave. I dismiss the students in prayer and tell them to have a great week.
For lesson 1 we reviewed creation which needs to be reviewed with the students so that they know how God created the earth. Here are the days of creation that I sent home with the students in their newsletter
The Seven Days of Creation
Day one: Day and Night

Day three: Land and Plants
Day four: Sun, Moon, and Stars
Day five: Birds and Fish
Day six: Creatures of Land and Man
